Workstreams

We operate under workstreams at amazee.io as oppose to departments, in order to break down silos that can exist with more traditional department setups, and encourage collaboration.

Workstreams bring together key collaborators to work together closely to take a more holistic approach to acheiving company goals. A traditional department setup can lead to a focus on department goals, and lack of alignment with wider company goals. For example, instead of having a specific finance department at amazee.io our finance team is part of our wider Business Operations (BizOps) workstream, which also includes our legal, business intelligence, software engineering, and HR experts, as they all have a stake in the same wider company objective; to support the efficient and effective running of amazee.io, and removing obstacles for our employees.

By ensuring overlapping areas of expertise are all working together on daily basis in their workstreams, focused on the same wider company goals which all members of a workstream have a hand in, we can more easily keep on track of goals, keep them relevant, adjust them, and support each other in achieving them.
